Charlie making Grinch snacks out of mini marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, and green grapes.
- Charlie got Magnatiles for Christmas (thanks Papa, Marmee, and Uncle Chris), and he has played with them multiple times a day since then. He loves them. His creations are becoming more and more intricate and inventive, too. So far his go-to structures are Gator sheds, rockets, and beds or chairs for Esme's baby dolls. Seriously, he's such a sweetie.
- He's had a pretty major cognitive "leap" since the holidays are over. Much less whining (for a three-year-old) and fewer tantrums (for a three-year-old) during the week. It's been a pleasant surprise.
- Charlie talks about what he and Henry are going to do all the time. He also talks about what he thinks Henry will like: Thomas the Tank Engine, pie, watching Charlie play with Play-doh, etc.
- He's started to try to make jokes. They don't make sense, but that's the charm. :o)
- He talks about the next place we live quite a bit. He knows that out of all the residency options, Hawaii is the warmest. That's where he keeps saying we are going to live.
- Charlie asks "why?" even more than before. I really didn't think that was possible. So far, I haven't tired to answering yet. I think maybe if I were trapped in a long car ride with him asking why all the times, maybe then it would be a bit much. For now, it's fascinating to see what he wants to know more about.
