Hello, Stranger: A Quick Update

Two years and four months ago was my last post asking you to divert your attention a while during our move.  Well, since then we've moved to central Illinois and moved again to northern Illinois - and will be moving yet again in six months.  We've also had another baby (Esme in May 2013) and are expecting another this April, making our total number of offspring three.  I am still a stay-at-home mom, and Aaron is completing his M3 year of medical school. By July, we will return to southern Illinois to live with family while Aaron does M4 in several locations across the country: Virginia, Hawaii, Georgia, North Carolina, and back to southern Illinois. 

Then, our future will be dictated in part by the military and by the army medical hospitals.  Our summer 2016 move will be to any one of the following states: Virginia, Hawaii, Georgia, Washington, North Carolina, or Texas.  The list is in order of preference, but the top two to three oscillates.  Regardless of the location, we will be farther from family than we've ever been; an exciting and scary prospect at the same time.  

This leads me to why I've taken up this blog again: to keep family and friends updated on the kids.  While phone calls and emails are great, here I can document our kids' growth and what we're up to as a family.

I don't know how often I'll post, but I have the themes down for each day that I choose to write:

• Thursday:Throw Back Thursday Photo/Story
• Friday: Letter to My Children
• Saturday (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Saturday of the month):
